The Moray firth is famous for dolphin. Children and adults alike cannot resist their wonder and allure.
Discover our Dolphins
One of the most highly recommended Dolphin Tour, which is closest to Glenarder is North 58 Degrees Sea Adventures out of Findhorn. Findhorn is probably our favourite sea side town with expansive beach (if you go when the tide is out – check tidal times). There are always plenty of seals swimming in the bay or basking on the sands. It can be windy so be sure to take a warm sweater or jacket.
Findhorn itself is home to a sailing club. There are two wonderful family friendly little pubs by the water, offering great local seafood and pub fair. Our favourite is The Kimberly due to the nice ambiance and fireplace but the Crown and Anchor is equally nice with a lovely outside picnic table area.
There is an old icehouse for the kids to discover and information.
Directions to Findhorn from Glenarder. Lovely drive. Approx 45 mins.
