Canoeing and water sports.
LOCH INSH WATERSPORTS CENTER. With 14 acres of forested land and 700 acres of beautiful Highland Loch to enjoy, there are plenty of activities for everyone: Sailing, Windsurfing, Canoeing, Kayaking, Skiing, Fishing, Rowing, Biking, Archery, Rafting and Walking. Also, three adventure play areas perfect for ciildren. Restaurant and shop.
LOCH MORLICH Loch Morlich Watersports. Canoeing, sailing etc. Instruction available. Lovely loch beach and views. Coffee shop and boat house on site. Close to all Avimroe facilities and activites.

Estates and nature reserves
Wildlife Safaris – Glenlivet Estate. Take a Landrover Safari through the estate and see all the wildlife in their natural habitat. Beautiful scenery and experience.
Revack Highland Estate. Adventure park and visitors center, gardens, guided walking trails, children’s play area etc. Also offers guided Land-rover Tours with the opportunity to see the ancient Caledonian Pine Forest, highland cattle and red deer, as part of an exciting weekly programme of activities for all the family.
ECOVENTURE (http://www.ecoventures.co.uk). Take boat tours to view dolphins, porpoise, grey and harbour seals, and minke whales.
Abernethy Forest Osprey Centre ( http://www.scotlandinfo.eu/nethy-bridge-abernethy-forest-loch-garten-ospreys/
Watch live video feed and see views of the osprey nest. There are 3 nature trails with guided walks and summer
Highland Wildlife Park. Kincraig. (http://www.highlandwildlifepark.org.uk). Drive around the Main Reserve in your own car and then investigatep the walk-round area by foot. They have a mass of animals – highland cattle, red deer, bison, pine martens, pole cats, wolves, otters, snowy owl, golden eagle, badger, red fox but to name but a few. Take a look at their web site.
On B9152 seven miles south of Aviemore
Landmark Forest Heritage. (http://www.landmarkpark.co.uk)–. Fantastic place for kids and adults. Absolutely not to be missed. Magical forest walks include a walk through the tree tops, very tall viewing tower. Bird and squirrel feeding areas. Indoors Micro World – brilliant even if you’re not really into miniature life-forms. Kids activities include water raft and roller-coaster ride – all very green
Parents can sit in the outdoor cafe and have a coffee while keeping a close eye on the kids – thoughtful layout! Lots more for a great family day out.Carrbridge just off A95 north of Avimore.
